CONTINUING COOPERATION WITH THE STATE ACADEMY OF APPLIED SCIENCES IN CHEŁM

On November 8, Olena Budnyk, Director of the PNU EcoSystem Center, together with Oksana Kondur and Mariia Klepar, Professors of the Faculty of Pedagogy, visited the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Chełm (Poland) within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement. During the meetings with the professors of the Department of Pedagogy of this institution, they discussed the issues of organizing joint events and academic mobility for teaching staff and students, as well as publishing scientific articles in Ukrainian and Polish university publications.

The Polish colleagues showcased their Center for Engineering Science, a flagship facility featuring educational and industrial laboratories equipped with advanced technology and tools for training. Noteworthy facilities also include the university’s own training airfield, a specialized Medical Simulation Center, and a newly developed educational space for student teachers. The meeting with Zygmunt Gardziński, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Professor Piotr Mazur from the Department of Pedagogy was highly productive. With Ukrainian students also studying at the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Chełm, the discussion identified potential areas for collaborative research on the social adaptation of students in Poland and (post) war Ukraine.
