From September 2 to 4, the 16th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT-2026) took place in Zlín (Czech Republic), with the participation of Professor Olena Budnyk, Director of the “CNU EcoSystem” Center, and Associate Professor Kateryna Fomin. The topic of their presentation was “Digital Transformation of University Education: The Experience of Ukrainian Educators and Readiness for the Integration of Artificial Intelligence.” The report focused on analyzing teachers’ digital and prompt competence levels, practical case studies of generative AI implementation (for routine automation, personalization of learning trajectories, and development of instructional materials), as well as academic integrity challenges and ethical considerations. In particular, Kateryna Fomin emphasized the teaching community’s readiness to transition from passive observation to active implementation of advanced innovations to enhance the quality and competitiveness of university education. She presented the experience of Ukrainian educators in adapting to the digital transformation of the educational environment, combining distance and blended learning with new challenges of AI integration.
Based on the results of this prestigious forum, which brought together over 300 participants from 60 countries, a collection of scientific papers will be published. The proceedings are traditionally indexed in the Scopus international scientometric database.
