Today, the Director of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “CNU EcoSystem”, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor Olena Budnyk, was honoured with a prestigious award from the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – the “K.D. Ushynsky” Gold Medal, which she received from the Vice-President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Oleg Topuzov.
This prestigious award is a testament to many years of fruitful scientific and pedagogical work, a significant personal contribution to the development of domestic education, and the implementation of innovative approaches in professional practice.
“For me, as an educator and researcher, this award holds deep significance, as it instantly brought back memories of those 20 wonderful years of my life during which I had the honour of working within the structure of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. It was an unforgettable time working with a wonderful team at the Centre for Ukrainian Ethnopedagogy and Ethnology, which operated at that time within the Department of Theory and History of Pedagogy under the leadership of Academician-Secretary Olga Sukhomlinska. It was a period of true immersion in scientific research, inspiration, and creation; a time of defending my PhD and doctoral dissertations. Therefore, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who recognises, supports and values my work!”, emphasised O. Budnyk.
She expressed her sincere gratitude for the comprehensive support provided by the university’s management and colleagues: Rector Valentyna Yakubiv, the Chair of the University Academic Council, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Ihor Tsependa, the management of the Faculty of Pedagogy and personally Dean Oksana Kondur, as well as the staff of the Department of Primary Education and Educational Innovations. Special words of gratitude were also extended to the team at the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “CNU EcoSystem”.
